A Little About Me
My Story
Growing up on a small fruit farm in the San Joaquin Valley in California, I discover my love for agriculture. Raising show hogs for FFA and participating in community service projects with my local 4-H Club, I found a passion and drive for all things agriculture and youth development programs.

As I made my way through college at Oklahoma State University, I was able to explore and learn about the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service. I was hired as a summer intern in Seminole County where I predominately worked with the 4-H program. This internship opened my eyes to the wonderful world of Oklahoma 4-H and I learned that I had a passion for positive youth development.

Once graduating in 2015, with a BS in Agribusiness, I set out to start my Extension journey. I was hired as the 4-H Educator in McClain County where I spent five years developing the 4-H youth program, teaching school enrichment programs, and partnering with local businesses and organizations to help support the program.

In early 2021, I graciously accepted the Oklahoma 4-H EPSCoR STEM Specialist job at the State 4-H Office on the Oklahoma State University campus. Its always been a dream of mine to work at the State Office and I finally made it!

As the EPSCoR STEM Specialist, it's my duty to help young people become motivated, productive, and contributing members of society as they “learn by doing.” Oklahoma 4-H and I are dedicated to helping Oklahoma youth, families, and communities reach their full potential by providing hands-on STEM programming and events.
